Asha Kiran Special Needs School (A Project of Asha Kiran Trust) was born in December 1993 after the founder, Mrs. Rita James completed her Post Graduate Diploma with the British Open University, UK, which helped her a lot and equipped her to handle the children with different disabilities.

Asha Kiran means, “A Ray of Hope”. We know that the parents of special needs children out of desperation do give up hope for their children. Asha Kiran has this main aim to bring back that hope in the hearts of the parents as well as their children.
